Champlain Valley Fairgrounds, Essex Junction, VT
Vermont's largest fair, as befitting a fair situated right outside of
Burlington. The home and hearth exhibits now vastly outnumber the animals,
and the midway is the largest in the state. Two tents of petting zoos,
some agricultural events and displays but primarily a rollicking good
time in fair food, fair stuff, and whirly rides.
September 6-7
Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival

An annual event sponsored by Vermont's sheep and goat farms, this is the
place to buy fine Vermont wools, meet an alpaca, pat a bunny, and learn
about sheep and goats in Vermont. A must for anyone dreaming of having
their own backyard flock... an essential for anyone who appreciates wonderful
wool! To visit a Vermont farm, try The Icelandic
Sheep Farm at Morrison Corner

Tunbridge World's Fair

Huge history section in this traditional and respected old fair.
Some home displays but primarily a small country fair. We saw our

we intend to buy tickets next year!
