Planning a wedding in Stowe, Vermont? Getting married in Stowe is easier than you imagine. We have inns for small, intimate weddings, and resorts with facilities for hundreds.

You'll need a wedding photographer. And perhaps a church, and a Stowe Inn, Bed and Breakfast, or Resort, depending on the size of the bash you're planning.

You'll also need a wedding license. "Getting Married in Vermont" covers everything you'll need to know to tie the knot. Obtain a copy call or fax the Stowe Selectman's Office 802-253-6133 (telephone) or 802-253-6137 (fax). Perhaps you'd like to announce your engagement in the local paper? That would be The Stowe Reporter.

If you're planning a spring or fall wedding, plan well in advance. Winter weddings can be more spontaneous. Stowe has seen people get married on skis, under snowy boughs.. and more conventionally.. in the local Congregationalist church. But all our churches are booked quickly during the peak weekends, so plan ahead.
